After briefly dabbling with photography, my dreams of creating colourful
and structural surfaces led me to studying textile design at the Estonian
Academy of Arts. I graduated in 1996.
Since graduating, I have designed and created textiles. This is my work, my hobby, my passion.
I weave and knit , print, dye, crochet etc. In a product which has otherwise simple form,
I often mix various materials and textures. Choosing the colour is important – I usually dye my yarn
and products to achieve the perfect and unique palette. I use expensive and natural materials: silk,
cotton, wool. It is also important for me to make products that people like and need.
